Habit Breaking

Habits are routines of behaviour that are repeated regularly and tend to occur subconsciously, without us being conscious of them. Not all habits are bad, but some most certainly are. Common habits people try to break include nail-biting, hair pulling, picking, smoking, teeth-grinding (Bruxism) etc. Many habits are also connected to specific situational triggers and emotional issues such as anxiety.

Do you have a bad habit that you would like to stop? If so, we can help you to do so by using an intelligent mix of hypnotherapy, mindfulness, cognitive and behavioural psychology. Through this process you will be able to gain better control of your reactions to your personal triggers and master skills that can help you to stop your bad habit. Hypnotherapy can also help to influence the unconscious aspects of your behaviour and is often very effective in conquering undesired habits.
